The CrossFit Santry Nutrition Method  - Why we choose Habits

Habits are the small decisions you make and actions you perform every day. You more than likely have several (good or bad) ingrained in your day to day routines that you don't even think about! Our goal with this nutritional approach is to help you set up some new, and long lasting, habits around healthy eating while also helping you strive towards your goal of improved performance, fitness and strength.

By now healthy eating is something we all know we should do, but few of us do it as consistently as we would like. The benefits of good nutrition are fairly obvious to most of us. You have more energy, your health improves, and your productivity blossoms. However, this doesn't always make the actual task at hand easy. We hope that by challenging you to take on some new healthier habits, over a set period of weeks, healthy eating habits get that bit easier for you and become something you can stick with long term.

Achieving any long term goal is achieved by first achieving several smaller action based goals. That is why we break our habits down into small actionable and achievable steps (habits). One per week/two weeks depending on your starting point, how feasible they are to master and your end goals. Eventually, our aim is that these daily actions cascade into powerful, life–changing habits.

Like any successful long–term project, forming a good habit starts with breaking the end goal down into very small steps. We do this hard part for you by assessing your current eating and training patterns and delegating you specific healthy-eating habits that are personalized to you and are bound to leave you feeling like a better version of yourself in six-ten weeks time.

The box runs two nutrition challenges a year which are overseen and organized by Coach Mai and Coach Gary. Should you wish to get involved please speak to them directly and they will fill you in on upcoming start dates. They both also offer nutrition consultations which you can book in for at any point throughout the year should you wish to seek advice around nutrition, get a personalized programme and some coaching.
